CLUB NATACIÓN MASTER MADRID was founded in April 2007 by a Madrid-based group of swimmers who wanted to create a club that would focus on the aims and needs of competitive masters swimmers. We welcome members from all over Madrid, Spain and the world. Members can choose to train with the club or on their own, meaning we offer the flexibility that masters swimmers need while coming together to compete as a team.
We have members of all ages and from all backgrounds, and we welcome swimmers of all levels, valuing everyone’s contribution to the team. As well as training and competing in the pool and open water, we organise social activities like team meals and outings to make sure everyone has a chance to get to know each other. We value tolerance, respect, participation, support and enthusiasm.
The club competes regionally, nationally, and abroad. We take part in competitions organised by the Federación Madrileña de Natación (FMN) in Madrid and in national championships and open water events organised by the Real Federación Española de Natación (RFEN) throughout Spain, taking the chance to get to know new parts of Spain as a team.
We have a proud history, including winning national championships (Spanish distance masters championships, Vitoria 2019, Oviedo 2024 and 2025) and multiple Madrid championships.
In 2022/2023, we were 3rd in the Spanish distance championships and among the top 10 clubs in the Spanish national winter, summer and open water championships. We also placed 3rd in the Madrid winter and summer championships and in the Madrid league.
